Safety Awareness

‘It is a truism in business that if you manage people you need to know what skills and tasks you are managing.’

PUWER 1998 requires that “Every employer should ensure that any of his employees who supervises or manages the use of work equipment has received adequate training for purposes of health and safety, including training in the methods which may be adopted when using work equipment, any risks which such use may entail and precautions to be taken.”

About the Course

This is a workplace transport safety course that has been designed for managers, supervisors and those personnel who do not drive on-site equipment.  It is designed so that they can perform their management functions more competently and fulfil their employers’ legal obligations.

Courses can be held at one of Mentor's two training centres in Chesterfield or Bromsgrove or at your site, allowing site-specific material to also be covered.
