Mentor present at Plant and Equipment Management Innovation Conference

Mentor were pleased to be involved in the Plant and Equipment Management Innovation Conference (PEMIC) 2011 held at Birmingham City University Business School on 16th November 2011. Not only were Mentor proud sponsors of the event but Technical Manager, Steve Baldwin, gave a very well received talk on Risk Management in Workplace Transport.

Simple Steps

Outlining some simple steps towards making workplace transport  both safer and more effective and emphasising the importance of supervisor and manager training, Steve's vast experience in the health and safety field saw him presenting among leading industrialists and academics, including keynote speaker Lord Digby Jones, former Director General of the CBI.

The event, organised by OPERC, was the largest yet, with over 300 delegates attending and, as well as a series of talks, featured machinery and product exhibits and was concluded by the International Awards for Excellence Gala ceremony and dinner.
