From NVQ to QCF - what it means for you and your employees

With the imminent move from NVQs to the new QCF framework many employers are asking what this will mean for their companies and employees. So we are pleased to announce a free-to-attend seminar designed to lift the lid on the new QCF framework.

The workshop will explain exactly how QCF will impact companies and what (if anything) they need to be doing before choosing which qualification is best for each employee.

Hosted by Serac UK, we are delighted that the session will include presentations from John Skipworth (Recognition and Accreditation Advisor at Ofqual), Jonathan Ledger (Proskills), Carol Pillinger (Chair of the Effective Training Group) and sector specialists in Extractives, Recycling and Waste Management and Laboratory and Associated Technical Activities (who will run sector specific workshops).

The session has been designed as a practical guide for Training managers, Site managers and Area managers, HR managers that will:

• Explain how the QCF framework will work
• Describe what employers will have to do
• Help employers make decisions by examining the detailed content of the new QCF qualifications in each of the sectors outlined above
• Explore what arrangements there are for transitioning from NVQ to QCF
• Set out the benefits to your business of the new framework

The QCF seminar will take place on 19th January at the Hilton Hotel in Northampton from 11.00 till 15.00 and lunch will be provided.
