Training for forklift truck operators at our training centres or on your site.

First class forklift truck training is provided at either of Mentor's two regional training centres or on customer sites. Booking of training is made easy by our Training Advisors, all of whom have a wealth of experience in dealing with customer queries and specifying the best courses to suit budget and site requirements.

Conducting of the forklift truck training is by one of our team of over 115 experienced and fully accredited instructors who are located nationwide from the north of Scotland to the south coast of England. Each instructor is individually monitored and regularly assessed by one of our field training managers who make regular visits to ensure that the training supplied by Mentor meets our continuously high standards.

Mentor provide available training dates normally within 7 to 10 days of request and are able to provide training 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year allowing greater flexibility for our customers. Our commitment to working closely with the customer to plan the best training course to suit them and their operators means that each company can guarantee they are getting value for money and the training they need.

Training courses provided by Mentor are largely practical with theoretical tuition incorporated within the course. The theoretical tuition includes all aspects of Health and Safety that the driver requires to safely operate the truck within the environment that it is being used. The practical part of the course takes the operator through an introduction to the truck, basic steering operations through to safely operating the truck with a pallet within a restricted route, stacking / destacking within racking and loading / unloading vehicles. The courses are tailored to run within your organisation and cover the basic aspects of all operational requirements.

Whatever the experience level of your operators, Mentor Training will offer a training package to suit. Courses can be 1, 3 or 5 days and the operators can be mixed and matched to achieve maximum value for money.
