Forklift Driver Training DVD

An effective way to emphasise key points of safe fork lift operation can be stressed using Mentors forklift driver training DVD's. It is proven that a variety of visual aids and a range of specific training material will aid the learning process and have a greater impact on the audience. Mentor has produced a set of four DVD'S that cover counterbalance, reach, pedestrian and narrow aisle trucks, known as "The Lifters".

The forklift driver training DVD's have been developed from over 20 years experience of training operators to use all types of fork lift trucks. Mentor has vast knowledge of the safe and legal way to operate all types of forklift trucks in any business environment and trains operators throughout the UK in all types and sizes of business.

Forklift driver training dvdsMentor recognise that not everyone will find one specific method of teaching as effective as another and some operators will respond better to a particular teaching method than someone else on the same course. With this in mind Mentor encourage instructors to use a range of methods to try to engage all operators in their training course.

The Lifters cover the main points that operators of forklift trucks need to know in order to operate the trucks in a safe and efficient way. Each DVD covers the following titles:

  • The law and the risk
  • Understanding the limits
  • Maintaining your forklift truck
  • Safe driving
  • Loading and unloading
  • Operating the forklift truck

It should be noted that the forklift driver training DVD's are to be used as an additional aid to a fully accredited training course. They are not designed to be a stand alone theory training DVD, they are intended to be used to assist the instructor with his/her training course.

The DVD's can be brought directly from Mentor as single items or as a full pack for those instructors who conduct training on a variety of Forklift Trucks.
